Sachiko's Subtle Technologies

Sachiko is curating/organizing this thing. She came over to do business and eat a silly meal cooked by me. She is going to be deported because her work visa is expiring. She is a scientist and she works all day on experiments on cells, testing different virus situations and she uses an ultraviolet microscope. And she likes art, she makes it and lives it. But now she has to move away for a while or get another job in the US that will sponsor her visa. It is very sad that someone who contributes so much to a scientific, social, and artistic community can have run out of time on this big stupid continent. Sachiko still has hope that she will find a new situation before April but is unsure of what this situation will entail. NY likes Sachiko and vice versa. She has more family here than most americans who have migrated here. I am pissed. I will be applying to be a part of Subtle Technologies this year. I encourage anyone who might come upon this to apply. It seems like a great opportunity to explore Toronto. Also, if the show became a big deal in NY it could get more coverage and Sachiko might get a little spotlight that could lead her into the arms of a NY company who will sign off on the visa.
